Comment/Synopsis

A young orphan arrives in the Village of Moonfleet in the late 1700s hoping to be looked after by an estranged relative and gets involved in the smuggling run by his relative. This is not a typical Fritz Lang film, as it is basically a glossy costume drama based on a novel by J Mead Falkner.
