After an argument with his wife (Patricia Plunkett), she walks out on him (Derek Farr). He goes out and picks up a woman (Joan Dpwling) in a bar. They go to her flat and then his flat where he accidentally kills her. The landlord (Dennis Price) realises what has happened and tries to blackmail him. Meanwhile his wife comes and goes oblivious to the goings on. Whilst there are some good scenes, it is slightly strange in that given it was based on a play there are a lot of voice overs. This was J Lee Thompson's first film that he directed and was an adaptation of a play he had written.
