Toni Collette is a girl without a boy friend who dreams of a wedding and spends her days in Australia listening to Abba. After stealing money from her parents, she goes on holiday and changes her life. This is a film that examines family, love and aspiriations against a background of a young woman who wants to make something of her life despite her own and her families limitations. This was Toni Collette's second film and showed her range as an actor. There is good support from Rachel griffiths as her friend who has a life changing accident. The Abba sound track adds so much to the film.
