Comment/Synopsis

After her (Jean Arthur) husband (Fred MacMurray) is declared dead she marries his business partner (Melvyn Douglas), but things get complicated when he reappears alive. Jean Arthur has fun getting the attention from both her husbands whilst playing them off against each other. This is a good romantic comedy with a funny script and good performances from the three lead characters, especially Jean Arthur who is funny, passionate and sexy. This is based on the play by W Somerset Maugham.
