Comment/Synopsis

A New York socialite who is a singer/songwriter (Irene Dunn) meets a rancher (Fred MacMurray) at a rodeo and after a whirlwind romance they marry and she moves to his run down ranch that is dominated by his two young daughters (Natalie Wood). Irene gives s good performance as the city girl trying to learn how to be a ranchers wife. There are several funny scenes, and although Irene Dunn was coming towards the end of her career, her acting ability and elegance are still obvious.
