An extra-terrestrial object lands in England and is investigated by three scientists (John Saxon, Maurice Denham, Patricia Haines), but it is a means of kidnapping women back to the home planet. The film is somewhat disjointed and has some good parts and some not so good parts. The plot has almost two separate parts. The first part is with the scientists examining the sphere and the second part the police investigating the disappearance of young women after answering adverts in a glamour magazine.
