A small island is having a heat wave whilst the main land has snow and as bodies start to pile up it becomes apparent to some people that the cause of the strange weather is an alien invasion. This is a low budget science fiction / alien invasion production from director Terence Fisher. The interest in the film is the three way relationship between local writer patrick Allen, his wife (Sarah Lawson) and his secretary and ex-lover (Jane Merrow)
