A successful business woman inherits a rundown hotel in Vermont. However it is not quite what it seems as Santa needs it running to power his sleigh. So she gets it up and running with the help of the local handyman and a couple of Santa's elves. This is a typical made for television Christmas romance. Lori Loughlin delivers a passionless performance, but that is more down to the direction, as Bailee Madison's elf character is also toned down compared with the first film. This film needed more life and passion to make it a better film.
