A German estate agent is sent to Count Orlok's castle to make a deal with him, but at the same time the Count has a strange supernatural link to his wife (Lily-Rose Depp). This is a modern variation on the early 1922 silent version of the Dracula story. The film is a dark and quite sinister version of the story, though it is visually impressive.
