A French violinist (Basil Rathbone) marries the daughter (Billie Dove) of an aristocrat and is disinherited. Howver he gradually becomes a star and also has an affair with a sultry countess (Kay Francis). This is not a great film with Basils Rathbone not well cast and has a bad accent. Kay Franceis is the vamp who tempts Basil Rathbone and other men in to an affair.
