A woman with only a week or two to live after being told she has a black hole in her chest takes a pill that she found as a child and that sends her back in time 5 days. At the end of the 5 days she takes another one and the cycle repeats. She works with a student to try and find out how the pills work in an attempt to go back further in her life so she can relive her life again. The film is about time travel and science fiction as it is a reflection of the choices made in life and their consequences.
