A concert pianist (Barbara Stanwyck) is admitted to a sanatorium in Switzerland for treatment of a lung disease. The doctor (David Niven) treating her prescribes rest and quiet, but she wants to continue to experience life. Barbara Stanwyck gives a good performance as the worman trying to avoid coming to terms with her own mortality.
