When her father announces that he is about to get marries, his daughter decides to elope with a friend, has second thoughts and then meets up with a man with a shady past. This is basically a romantic comedy that works well when when David Manners and Dorothy Libaire are playing off against each other. The murder sub plot in the second half of the film is weak. Worth watching as a light romantic comedy, but not as a murder mystery.
