A prisoner escapes jail in an exciting way and then starts terrorising people in an isolated mansion where a reporter (Guinn Williams) and girl friend (Allene Ray) investigate the strange happenings. This early sound film is a mixed bag with a plot that is not orriginal and the acting is variable, with Allene Ray being more a damsel in distress though it is Violet Knights as the maid who takes the acting credit.
