Joanne Kelly is a New York book editor who gets the job of editing Colin Ferguson's new book and then finds she is pregnant by Lucas Bryant who is a musician who then goes on tour for 6 months. She visits her parents in Canada only to find her visa has expired and has to stay in Cananda for a year. This is an average coming to terms with being pregnant and discovering what is important in life film.
