A group of film students organise a film night of old horror films to raise money. Whilst they are preparing they come across a film purporting to be made by a man who killed his family and burnt down the theatre killing lots of people. As they start showing the films the students begin to be killed off. This is a curious variation on the slasher film as it has the films within a film theme combined with the stalking murder giving clues.
