A woman (Sadie Frost) becomes governess to two young children but opposition form the housekeeper (Lauren Bacall) and discovers dark secrets affecting the household. This is not a particularly good version of the Henry James story ( Turn Of The Screw) as Sadie Frost is not convincing as the governess and Lauren Bacaal seems hampered by the directing.
