A woman (Loretta Young) gets a job as a maid to a wealthy family. She falls in love with the son (Robert Young) of the family, secretly marries him and becomes pregnant. The jealous butler (Basil Rathbone) sets out to undermine her position in the family. This is a pleasant romance, that does not have an orrigianl plot, but is well played by Loretta Young as the maid falling in love with the son of the family she works for and Robert Taylor as the son. There is also a good performance from Basil Rathbone as the creepy butler.
