A radio singer who promotes wash cloths is portrayed as sweet and innocent but really wants to live a more wild and exciting life. As a publicity stunt but they find a fan to marry her, but then they run off together. One of the plot lines in the film is to get Ginger Rogers to sign a new contract and RKO were at the time trying to get her to sign a contract. This was Ginger Rogers first film for RKO and her singing voice was dubbed despite her being a capable singer. The plot and script are not the best but Ginger Rogers gives a good performance.
