Professor Quatermas (Brian Donlevy) wants to develop a colony on the moon. When he investigates strange meteors coming from space he discovers a replica of his moon colony on earth. As he pursues his investigation as to what this is he discovers it is aliens invading earth by stealth. This is the second Quatermas film produced by Hammer Films and was based on the BBC TV series.
