Two men become infatuated with the secretary (Ingrid Bergman) of the mother (Lucile Watson) of one of them. She marries the son (Robert Montgomery), but he becomes increasingly jealous and paranoid of the other man (George Sanders). Despite three good actors in the leading roles, this film is disappointing, mainly due to weaknesses in the script and the direction. This is not the one of Ingrid Bergman's bettter films.
