A con man (Burt Lancaster) arrives in a rural town and claims he can bring rain to stop the drought and meets a woman (Katharine Hepburn) who thinks she is past the stage of romance, but starts falling for the man. This is an entertaining film with very good performances from both Burt Lancaster and Katharine Hepburn.
