A radio producer (Randolph Scott) is looking for a child star. He finds one (Shirley Temple), but then she disappears, only to reappear on the farm next to his country house. Her aunt (Helen Westley) does not want her to have anything to do witth theatrical types, but her cousin (Gloria Stuart) helps her perform on the radio for the producer. The film centres round the prformance of Shirley Temple, who despite being only 10 was a seasoned performer. There is good support from Randolph Scott as the producer, Gloria Stuart as the love interest and Helen Westley as the aunt.
