A put upon Dutch tavern worker (Marion Davis) falls for visiting man (Owen Moore) and the changes places with a plain woman (Louise Fazenda) being forced to marry a man she does not love. There follows comic scenes of mistaken identity. This is an entertaining comedy showing off Marion Davis's comic talents with slapstick secnes, ice skaing scenes and in the final haunted mill scene. For much of the film Marion Davis plays without make-up showing off her freckles. The mill set is also impressive for the time the film was made.
