An aspiring actress (Betty Hutton) plys her charms in the diraction of various film producers and eventually get mixed up with a group of gangsters. This is basically an excuse for Betty Hutton to sing and dance her way through a film with a very thin plot, with Victor Mature as her friend trying to support her career. This is not a great film but Betty Hutton and her chirpy energy make it watchable.
