The American daughter (Sandra Dee) from a man's first marriage comes to stay with him (Rex Harrison) and his second wife (Kay Kendall) in London. She then ends up being a deputant in the London season. This is a light comedy with a romantic twist and a slight farce towards the end. Rex Harrison and Kay Kendall were married at the time the film was made. THis was Kay Kendall's penultimate film before her death aged 33.
