A famous film star (Clive Brook) avoiding his fans stays at the guest house in the seaside town where his career started and helps out the local theatrical company. Whilst there he starts a relationship with the leading lady (Anna Lee) who has been in a long term relationship with the writer of the play. THis is a gentle but entertaining early film from Ealing Studios.
