Two men get on a plane leaving Peru for Panama, but only one gets off. He asks a private detective (Pat O'Brien) to protect him, meanwhile the police ask the private detective to find him. Both sides are after a map of potential oil wells and a woman (Anne Jeffreys) befriends him, but for what motive? This is a standard late 1940's thriller, though with a few good scenes.
