Two men and a monkey are on the first manned flight to mars, when after avoiding a meteor they crash land on Mars.One of them is killed and the other has to learn how to survive on the planet. After learning to cope alone he teams up with an escaped slave from an alien race. This is a 1960's sci-fi take on the Robinson Crusoe story that is a mixture of good and bad of 60's sci-fi.
