A detective and his store detective wife arrive at a remote tavern to get married. However after they arrive people start getting murdered. This is a typical people who are apparently unrelated getting killed off in an isolated house. The plot is not great, but there is good witty banter between Wallace Ford and Barbara Pepper. Joan Woodbury has some slightly sinister close ups as the medium and Clara Kimball Young has a wonderful over the top rant in one of the final scenes.
