An immigrant is refused entry into America as he does not have th emoney, so he jumps ship and is taken in by an actress and her young brother. To try and stop her brother being taken into care they decide to get married but he must be become a citizen first. This is a pleasant, light weight, depression era romance with good performances from Ginger Rogers and Francis Lederer.
