When fog envelopes an airport, a load of gold bullion is stolen and hidden in the boot of a bus. A releif driver (Frankie Howerd) is called in to drive the bus and a small group of passengers and a stewardess (Petula Clark) to another airport. It soon becomes apparent that one of the passengers is the mastermind behind the robbery.
