A man (Robin Williams) under pressure in his job takes his family (Cheryl Hines, Joanna Levesque and Josh Hutcherson) on a road trip across the country as a cover to go to a business meeting. Along the way they have a series of comic adventures, meet another unconventional family (Jeff Daniels and Kristin Chenoweth) and discover what it means to be a family. The plot is not orriginal, but there are a number of funny jokes and visual gags. Robin Williams is good in the lead role and he is well support by the rest of the cast.
