After a night club dancer is attacked she ends up in an asylum where she is helped by one of the doctors. When she is attacked it is the same as a prious girl who was killed. A reporter is attracted to her and starts to investigate when he realises there is a connection with a statue called the Screaming Mimi. There are some good twists to the plot and a good performance from Anita Ekberg.
