This is a loose biographical film of Ian Flamming who wrote the James Bond books.The film focuses on his work with Bitish intelligence during World War 2 which he then used for his novels. There is a good British cast but the writing and production has the feel of a TV series. The best parts of the film are the references to the Bond films which vary from the obvious to the subtle.
