Alec Baldwin is the 1930's comic book hero saving America from a man building an atomic bomb. Alec Baldwin gives s good performance as he swaps between his day character and being the Shadow against a background of stylish 1930's style sets. Penelope Ann Miller's character is too insipid to add anything more that a passing love interest. There are better variations of this theme.
