John Malkovich and Debra Winger are an American couple who go traveling in North Africa in the 1920's in an attempt to discover themselves and their relationship. Whilst there are some beautiful shots of the Morrocan landscape, it is difficult to enagage with or have sympathy with the characters. The best performance is from Debra Winger.
