Santa has outsourced the production of the naughty and nice list and Lacey Chabert has the job of checking up to see if naughty children really should be on the naughty list. As she investigate a naughty young girl she starts to discover that she is more complex than she thought and starts to have feeling for her father (Andrew W Walker). The plot is different from the ususal Hallmark Christmas films and is unusual for Hallmark as Lacey Chabert breaks the fourth wall by speaking direct to the audience. The weakness of the film is the ending which is relatively weak.
