A woman (Candace Cameron Bure) who works in a department store get locked in one night and meets her guardian angel (Jean Smart) who takes her to Christmas's past, present and future (using different pairs of shoes from her collection) to show her how to take control of her life and loves. Meanwhile a handsom fireman (Luke Macfarlane) moves in next door and is assigned to help her organise the fire department Christmas fund raising ball. Candace Cameron Bure gives a good performance in one of the better than usual Hallmark Christmas romances.
