Comment
Three men rob a stage coach in which they have planted a female accomplice (Virginia Grey). Whilst making their escape they need new horses which they steal from the local Indians and kill some of them in the process. They end up in the fort of the cavalry troop looking for them and the Indians demand they are handed over to them but the cavalry say they must be tried by themselves. What sets this film apart from most westerns is that it is basically a musical set to a poor western plot. It is made more strange by the fact that the voice over is sung. Terry Gilkyson who wrote the music went on to write for a couple of Disney musicals (The Bare Necessities and Thomas O'Malley Cat). Only watch if you like curious 1950's musical westerns.
