A young woman is sacked from her job and dumped by her boyfriend on the same day. As she already has a tri book to South America, she persuades her mother to join her. Once there she meets a man who kidnaps them and they try all sorts of things to escape. This is an attempt to make an action comedy build around a mother and daughter bonding time, but sadly it fails. Goldie Hawn has done much better work. THe plot is unbeleivable and the comedy is only funny in a few parts.
