Comment/Synopsis
A man known to be mute is accused of murder, but the witness claims that he spoke. This is a well constructed film with a good performance from Lionel Atwill and the under used support from Sheila Terry. The plot twist has been used several times since (Phantom Killer 1942), but is well worked through the film.
