The cloak room girl at a night club saves a man from drowning. She thinks he is poor and tries to help him, but he is actually rich and as a thank you sets her up with an apartment and credit at an expensive department store but insists on his identity being kept secret. However things get complicated when her boyfriend returns from being overseas with the forces and he thinks she is being a kept woman. There is a good performance from Betty Huttton as the woman suddenly coming into money and well supported by Barry Fitzgeral as the undercover millionaire.
