Comment/Synopsis
Four children and their mother (Virginia McKenna) go on holiday to the lake District and whilst sailing on the lakes have adventures with a pair of sisters in a rival boat. This is a good adaptation of the Arthur Ransome bookthat goese back to a different world in 1929 when children were much more innocent. This is more faithful to the book than the later 2016 version.
