Tarzan tries to return a statue that has been stolen from a native tribe. This is not one of the better Tarzan films as it is a series that has been edited down into one film which leaves problems with the flow of the plot, not least that it is set in South America but has shots of African animals. It is also filmed and acted in the style of a silent film despite it having dialogue.
