A blank clerk is kidnapped and manages to send out a message by putting her watch on a cat. The cat returns home and Hayley Mills finds the watch. She goes to the FBI where she persuades Dean Jones that cat knows where the kidnappers are. This is a gentle and entertaining family comedy with a charming performance from Hayley Mills ably supported by a bumbling Dean Jones, a creepy Roddy McDowell and with additional glamour from Dorothy Provine.
