Comment
A police investigator (Melvyn Hughes) leaves to set up his own detective agency, but as he has no clients goes back to the force. As his wife (Joan Blondell) is closing up the office a welathy woman (Mary Astor) arrives and wants them to investigate if her husband is having an affair with his ex-girlfriend (Frances Drake). When he is found murdered both the policeman and his wife start investigating but separately. As a murder mystery, the plot is quite light, but there is a good energetic comic performance from Joan Blondell who is the highlight of the film.
