Marital tensions arise when a doctors wife becomes famous through appearing in commeercials for a brand of soap. This is basically a romantic comedy bewteen Doris Day and James Garner and they play off well against each other. it is also making comemnts about women moving into the workplace and not jsut staying at home. It is a light hearted examination rather than a serious examination of the social changes that were starting to come about in the 1960's. The disappointment is that she finaly returns to being a home maker. Best to enjoy the romantic comedy rather than consider any social comment. Zasu Pitts has a small role in one of her last films.
