In London's club land the owner of a strip club gets threats and demands for money. He suspects that a rival club owner is behind it. The basic plot is very thin, but then there are the various sub plots. Jayne Mansfield is Leo Genn's girlfriend who is the main attraction at the club and trying to get him out of the business. There is a reporter who is attracted to a foreign girl who has a mysterious past and then there is Barabara Windsor as the naive underage girl wanting to be discovered. Jayne Mansfield appears scantily clad in a number of scenes including when she sings the title song. Danik Patisson gives a good understated performance as the talented and enigmatic woman seemingly out of place.
