After the death of King Henry 8th his young son becomes King, but after he dies very young a power struggle for the crown takes place and the young Lady Jane Grey is mariied and crowned queen against her better judgement with fatal consequences. This is a solid historical drama with a good cast, but the script is very flat and the characters fail to draw the viewer in. Given the basic story and the cast this ends up as disappointing.
